And for them it's like really not within their scope of control to prevent things from turning out that way..

I don't see why i should tolerate someone who does not even make time for me.
I don't see why giving more time will help - it doesn't at all.
What is the use empty promises?

It's not about me not giving you a chance to pursue what you enjoy..
It's about you abusing the chances given to you.
There's a difference between no time and not putting in effort.

What can i say?

Like what's the difference between SL and stepping down as SL when there's no difference to the amount of time spent?
