Whee! Happy belated birthday Desmond! =)

HAHA.. went to Manhattan's Fish Market to celebrate dear's birthday =)
Met with his ITE friends at Plaza Singapura.

Bleah.. Everything was quite a rush for me that day.. Cause of impromptu make up lecture for the coming Monday.
yeah, at least i had enough time to pick up the cake from Raffles city's Ben & Jerry.

Had to wait a while for a table though. Not too bad.
BUT i had requested for a table of 5 and they didn't lead us in even though the table is free.
I wonder how much longer we would have been left waiting..
IF i didn't ask about the table for 5..

Oh WELL, at least the ice cream cake is already kept while we're waiting outside.

HAHA i recommended that cause the portion looks BIG on the menu.

ANYWAY, it's really big. The server even had this fire thingy to melt the paste on the prawns.
Talk about VISUAL presentation?

And thanks to Desmond, i got to try one half of a prawn.
AND it'd been de-shelled okay? =)))
It's fresh and there's this natural sweetness. =D


Fish & chips.
Since all the other guys (Bingyee, Raymond and Joeyee) ordered the SAME fish & chips.

HAHA.. You can choose the fish from Dory, Pollock and Butter Cod.

Hmm, the portion is quite generous. Definitely value for money.
BUT i think the chef forgot to add salt.
hmm..

Seriously spent lots of time FINISHING our food (except for Desmond of course).
Even the guys struggled with their fish & chips.

Oooh.. I don't know if it's only for that day..
but there's like 2 OTHER tables celebrating their birthday.
hahaha.. and there's this Malay couple who were celebrating their birthday TOGETHER!

I wonder if this meant that they're born on the same day? That would be like so cool.
hahaha..
Haha.. Got this lady to clear the table and passed her a note to bring the cake out.

Lucky Desmond. He got the loudest Birthday song ok?
Cause they came over and said that we have to make him SUPER MALU.
Plus, with 3 guys in our table (except for Desmond) it would only be appropriate if the sound level matches up.
HAHA..
I can see that they're having fun. Can't help but wonder how they would feel if they have to sing the birthday song 4 times a night, EVER NIGHT.
i bet they would have night mares.. MAYBE birthday phobia.
