Whee! Happy belated birthday Desmond! =)
HAHA.. went to Manhattan's Fish Market to celebrate dear's birthday =)
Met with his ITE friends at Plaza Singapura.
Bleah.. Everything was quite a rush for me that day.. Cause of impromptu make up lecture for the coming Monday.
yeah, at least i had enough time to pick up the cake from Raffles city's Ben & Jerry.
Had to wait a while for a table though. Not too bad.
BUT i had requested for a table of 5 and they didn't lead us in even though the table is free.
I wonder how much longer we would have been left waiting..
IF i didn't ask about the table for 5..
Oh WELL, at least the ice cream cake is already kept while we're waiting outside.
Let's just fast forward to the food.

That was what Desmond had for dinner.
HAHA i recommended that cause the portion looks BIG on the menu.
ANYWAY, it's really big. The server even had this fire thingy to melt the paste on the prawns.
Talk about VISUAL presentation?
And thanks to Desmond, i got to try one half of a prawn.
AND it'd been de-shelled okay? =)))
It's fresh and there's this natural sweetness. =D
Fish & chips.
Since all the other guys (Bingyee, Raymond and Joeyee) ordered the SAME fish & chips.
I only took one picture!
HAHA.. You can choose the fish from Dory, Pollock and Butter Cod.
Mine. salmon.
Hmm, the portion is quite generous. Definitely value for money.
BUT i think the chef forgot to add salt.
hmm..
Seriously spent lots of time FINISHING our food (except for Desmond of course).
Even the guys struggled with their fish & chips.
Oooh.. I don't know if it's only for that day..
but there's like 2 OTHER tables celebrating their birthday.
hahaha.. and there's this Malay couple who were celebrating their birthday TOGETHER!
I wonder if this meant that they're born on the same day? That would be like so cool.

Haha.. Got this lady to clear the table and passed her a note to bring the cake out.
Lucky Desmond. He got the loudest Birthday song ok?
Cause they came over and said that we have to make him SUPER MALU.
Plus, with 3 guys in our table (except for Desmond) it would only be appropriate if the sound level matches up.

I can see that they're having fun. Can't help but wonder how they would feel if they have to sing the birthday song 4 times a night, EVER NIGHT.

I promise not to skip any lectures unless i'm sick or under LOA.
I know EDEN will say that this promise is MEANT to be broken since it's me.
Nevertheless, i'm going to do my best.
That's the least i could do.
This semester can kill me.
Seriously, i feel the stress even before it starts.

Have been thinking about some stuffs.
MISSING would be a much better word.
I miss those times in bedok north sec.
Those times in band, those times i go to Mr lim to say i wanted to quit band..
and ended up being brainwashed by him again. -.-"
Not that i regret any of that though.
Haha, from the first seniors i had..
Teaching me the many ways to slack.
And the super classic
" i play for my grand mother hear cannot meh?"
Truely grateful that i stayed on.
Missed those times i had fun during sectionals with ting ting and syaherah.
Talking about Lim Wei Jie. LOL
Farewell was touching.
Haha.. Never knew i was remembered for bring the first to talk to them.
Happy to have my clique still intact even till now.
That's quite a feat.. =)
Really glad to have had so many friends who have been by my side, leaving footprints etched in my mind as we traveled through time..
Can't help but wonder. What awaits me in the future.........?

Super funny.. the night before, he asked me to jot down the timings for a few shows..

so we went to The Cathay to see what are the timings available.
Nothing much left. We had missed many movies by 15 minutes or so.
Bought tickets for Storm Rider at 5.30pm..
WALKED all the way to marina square.
Supposed to have Gelare..
but we saw this guy with very interesting hair style.

As i had a seat, i was at the portion after the steps.
At aljunied mrt station, the bus was pretty packed.
While i was struggling to alight from the bus, some XXX [figure this out] was so excited that there's seats and they were pushing their way from the steps..
AND I WAS STUCK THERE!!!
DAMNED!
Why can't they just wait 5 seconds after i walked down the steps then go up?
INSTEAD OF squishing me with others who were standing on the side.

Well, it's more of a birthday present hunting trip!
Was up pretty early. sky looks great!
had time to read papers!

until i received eden's sms saying that he's not going to walk to the bus stop.

which translates to "im cabbing down"
seriously didn't know the power of the sun until i stepped out of my hse.
thanks god i slapped some sun block.
i think the world is seriously getting alot hotter!!
i wont mind if lesser ozone layer means Singapore's getting cooler tho =X
tot of having sakae sushi. but the wheel lock outlet was swarmed with ACS kids and school kids.
yea.. so noisy and packed.
Went to Wisma Atria's food republic tho!
met Vic at work..

grilled salmon, tori karaage and chawanmushi bento =)
Since we're sitting right in front of the sashimi storage glass..
we couldn't help it =X

full of salmon, eel, melted cheese and roe =)
SUPER FULL!
both of us were struggling to chew finish all the food.
There's this particular sashimi that's super hard to chew.
