went to watch midnight sun with my sis..

well.. this is an entry by a feloow blogger regarding tt movie..
“Midnight Sun (タイヨウのうた, Taiyō no Uta, lit. “Song to the Sun”) is a movie starring the Japanese artist and singer YUI. In the movie, she plays the role of Amane Kaoru, a 16 year old girl who suffers from the rare skin condition xeroderma pigmentosum (XP), a disease that makes the ultraviolet radiation of sunlight potentially lethal to her. YUI’s character is partly based on herself, as she is an amateur singer and guitarist, and she performs three of YUI’s songs in the movie; It’s Happy Line, Good-bye days and Skyline.”
The movie made me felt it to be so real, how a girl who has illness and thus confined to a very different/unusual lifestyle. She finds joy in singing and also with Fujishiro Kouji, played by Takashi Tsukamoto. A touching story, especially when the movie shows how much can one do for his/her love ones. Once again, it made me think how fortunate are most of us to be alive and healthy. This movie also shows YUI’s talent. She can sing very well and better still, she writes her own songs. (Her acting skills are okay) This movie could have been a typical melodramatic movie. But with YUI’s singing, I think it make a difference. Watch this movie if you want to see an very adorable girl and/or cute guy. There is a particular funny scene when she approach the guy. This movie was shown in the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. It was released in Singapore on 7th December 2006.

haha.. lazy to write too much le.. but i hv to say tt the part where the gal appraoches the guy is damn funny!! well the gal is suffering from XP [moron!! i'm nt talking abt windows XP here!!] quite entertaining la. the lead actor oso very wad.. almost anything oso say"huh?'' okay.. sometimes "HUH!!"..

RUI!! i tink i saw KS!! with tt black jacket n tt dragon ball hairstyle.. LOL.. too bad my new phone din hv his number.. LOL.. wait till i hv the effort to go check my old hp den go sms him ba! LOL..
